Performance and Range
The Sierra EV has two battery options: Extended Range and Max Range. The Extended Range version is estimated to provide up to 390 miles of driving range on a full charge. It delivers 645 hp and 785 lb-ft of torque, powering all four wheels through a dual-motor AWD system.
The Max Range battery increases total output to 760 hp, while maintaining the same torque figure. It also boosts range to 460 miles, making the Sierra EV one of the highest-range electric pickups currently available. Thanks to the truck’s 800-volt electrical architecture, either battery pack can regain approximately 100 miles of range in just 10 minutes of DC fast charging.
Premium Interior Features
The cabin seats five in a crew cab layout, featuring premium quilted leather upholstery, real open-pore wood trim, and aluminum accents throughout. The front seats are 8-way power-adjustable, heated and ventilated, and include memory functions. Rear outboard seats are also heated, with generous legroom due to the battery layout. Although there’s ample storage space inside the cabin, additional cargo room can be found in the frunk, which includes drainage and tie-downs.
Bold and Distinctive Design
The Sierra EV features a distinctive illuminated GMC logo on the front and has an animated LED lighting sequence that activates when you approach the truck. The truck rides on 24-inch wheels, paired with 35-inch all-terrain tires. These large wheels contribute to the truck’s imposing presence as well as off-road functionality.
The standard MultiPro Tailgate offers six different functional modes, including load stops and steps. The MultiPro Midgate is another versatile feature that allows the partition between the cab and the bed to be lowered, so you can fit items up to 10 feet 10 inches in length in the truck.
Comprehensive Technology Systems
The Sierra EV has one of the most comprehensive technology suites of any electric truck. A 16.8-inch center touchscreen comes standard, supported by an 11-inch digital instrument cluster and 14-inch Head-Up Display. The infotainment system runs on a Google-based operating system and offers wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Audio is provided through a 14-speaker Bose Premium sound system. Phone charging is available through the wireless charging pad or any of multiple USB-A and USB-C ports. The pickup includes Super Cruise hands-free driving technology as standard, which reduces fatigue during long highway drives.
